The Hague International Centre

The Hague International Centre is a joint initiative between the Municipality of The Hague, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and ACCESS. It is the first point of contact for (new) residents of The Hague and has been created especially for the expatriate who is working and living in The Hague.

The Hague International Centre offers a welcome package to new arrivals and forms a point of contact between individual expats and the municipality. It provides information on the services provided by various municipal departments (parking permits, marriages, registration of birth, converting driving licenses, rubbish collection etc.). The centre also supplies basic information on areas including health care and education, for example.

Here you can also pick up your own personal copy of the 2009-2010 edition of The Hague Finder international city directory.

The Hague International Centre offers the 'Welcome to The Hague' programme six times a year. The morning is organised to help give you a better understanding of The Hague and is an opportunity to expand your network of contacts and meet other members of the international community. The best part of the programme is naturally the guided tour through the city historic centre.

The Hague International Centre is not only for the international community in The Hague. Other residents and visitors to the city can come to the centre for more information about the International City of Peace and Justice. One of the facilities available is an interactive screen where you can find information about the various international institutions and organisations located in The Hague.
