The Hague Public Transport Museum has been housed in the old tram depot named 'Remise Frans Halsstraat' since 1989.
The museum shows the history of public transport in the Hague and its surroundings. The depot is full of historic documents and photos. You'll even see the city's oldest tram from 1878. And once you've seen enough historic trams and buses, you can take a seat for a ride around the city.
The depot was fixed up in 1990 and since then can be admired in its original state from 1906. It has been added to the national list of historical buildings. After a recent extensive renovation, the depot reopened to the public in 2009
